Huge numbers of volunteers, tourists and backpackers visit residential children’s institutions every year. Our #HelpingNotHelping campaign for J K Rowling's children’s charity, Lumos, aimed to change attitudes towards orphanage tourism and volunteering. It was launched by the Harry Potter author at the One Young World global forum in London.
